I’ve written about my love-hate relationship with the scorching summer months throughout the years, and while it’s not quite time for my annual August gripe-about-the-heat post, I’ve decided to take a minute to share about some positive things that happen when the outdoor temperatures are trying to rival the surface of the sun: no-cook recipes!
Here’s a collection of 20 previously published, no-cook/no-bake recipes on LFIK (and there are actually more!). There’s no doubt that no-cook recipes are truly the MVP of summer dining at my house, and each and every one of these well-loved recipes is still in regular rotation in my kitchen.
Summer days are for swimming, gazing at the stars, and making memories with family and friends… and avoiding sweating over a hot stove whenever possible! You’ll never hear me call these “lazy recipes”; if a recipe lets you eat well while keeping the house cool, then that’s not laziness, it’s seasonal wisdom!
Work smarter, not harder y’all and I hope you find a no-fuss, no-cook recipe to enjoy soon!
Stay cool! xo – M ππ©΄ππ»ββοΈποΈπ
