Simple decadence remains the constant theme around these parts lately: we’re loving meals and dessert options that are big on flavor and satisfaction, but minimal on effort. This scrumptious Strawberry Cheesecake Toast is an easy, yet scrumptious indulgence that’s been on our top five list of favorite, all-purpose sweet treats for a few years now.

I shared about this droolworthy cheesecake toast in a YouTube video two summers ago (hard to believe!!), but now I’ve finally got it shared here on the blog (I know, it’s about time!!).

Best of all, there’s a really good chance you have everything in your kitchen to make this luxurious loaded toast, or a version of it, for yourself right now.

So, now that you know about this crazy good dessert toast, don’t wait! Please treat yourself! πŸ“β€οΈ

How to make strawberry cheesecake toast

All that is needed for this deluxe strawberry toast is some toasted bread (obviously!!), whipped cream cheese, strawberry jam, fresh sliced strawberries, chopped pecans, and honey. To put it all together, just mix the cream cheese with the jam and spread it over the toast, top with sliced strawberries, a sprinkle of chopped nuts, and lastly add a respectable drizzle of shimmering, golden honey… and enjoy!

At times, we have also simply purchased the premade tubs of strawberry or berry-flavored cream cheese just to make this recipe even easier.

I actually make several versions of this cheesecake toast fairly often, and what’s on my plate doesn’t always look like these pretty pictures. This fantastical strawberry cheesecake toast recipe is a wonderful starting guideline for this concept, but feel free to use what you have on hand to make it your own.

If you don’t have strawberry jam on hand, mixing a serving of cream cheese with any flavor of quality fruit jam should work out deliciously. Peach, pineapple, blueberry, raspberry or cherry preserves would make particularly yummy versions of this loaded cheesecake toast. Even if you don’t have the corresponding fresh fruit to top it off, slice up a banana (bananas go with everything, right?).

Or, don’t even worry about the fresh fruit layer and simply top the flavored cream cheese spread with chopped nuts and a drizzle of honey or maple syrup.

For yet another a delicious variation of this mix, try a smear of whipped plain cream cheese, topped with a thin layer of jam, topped with fresh fruit, chopped nuts. For this layered variation I would consider the drizzle of honey optional.

It may be apparent that I enjoy creatively playing around with toast, and I highly encourage you all to do the same. The results can be so scrumptious. I honestly love this strawberry cheesecake toast for breakfast, for an afternoon pick me up, or sometimes as a no-fuss dessert.

As this is a no-cook recipe, we definitely make this recipe more when the weather is warm out… and fresh, summer strawberries are at their best!

I honestly can’t believe summer break has been going on for one full month already, we’ve just been squeezing in fun where we can. We’ve been eating out a lot and just enjoying our free time as a family!! I hope you are enjoying some summer fun too.

  1. This would be the perfect thing to get kids to eat breakfast — and a few adults, too!

  2. This looks delicious. I’ve never heard of such a dish but it looks great. In my childhood i used to eat bread with jam and cream so this is a similar idea. Yum!
