After school snacking gets a bit of a glow up when these eye-catching, but wonderfully simple Peanut Butter Banana Yogurt Parfaits are served. I find that layered treats always make a good first impression with guests of all ages and on any day of the week!
This flavorful little parfait has been one of my favorite daily indulgences lately. I love it because it’s sweet and delicious, and it’s a bit on the healthy side. I also love it because it’s a satisfying snack that honestly couldn’t be easier to make.
It’s a true treat!
How to make easy peanut butter banana parfaits
There are only five ingredients in this quick and easy recipe: Greek yogurt, honey, peanut butter, sliced banana, and prepared granola. You’ll be ready to plate these up after just a few swirls of a spoon to mix up the yogurt, honey and peanut butter. This scrumptious parfait is ready to eat in just minutes!
I prefer using homemade granola to make these parfaits, it makes a huge difference in the quality of this simple treat. My all-time favorite recipe for the some no-fuss granola is this one, Simple Honey Cinnamon Granola. If you’ve never made granola before, I think you will be pleased with how fantastically easy it is to make a batch with this recipe. And, once you taste the difference between homemade and store-bought granola, I also think you will never want to go back to boxed granola unless it’s a granola eating emergency of some kind!
However, of course you can use quality, premade granola if you simply prefer to.
Substituting your favorite boxed breakfast cereal for the granola layer is a fun variation for this delicious peanut butter parfait. Frosted Flakes, Honey Bunches of Oats, Reese’s Puffs or Golden Grahams are some of our personal favorites to use when we eat these with cereal sometimes!
When it comes to the the choice of fruit, I typically stick to bananas in this dessert because I think the flavors of peanut butter and banana are a perfect match. But, if you want to sub in diced apple, fresh berries or sliced red grapes, those tasty substitutions would work just fine with this recipe!
Also, I do highly recommend using some cute, clear glass dessert bowls for this recipe so that you’ll get the full, joy-filled effect of this or any other layered dessert.
I hope you enjoy this deliciously, versatile parfait as much as we do and I’d love for you to visit again and tell me how you made this recipe your own!
Happy snacking, my friends! ✨🤗☕🥣

I think this sounds great, Marcelle! But you want to know something funny? Bananas are one of the only things Mark won’t allow in the house. The smell of them drives him crazy! 🤷🏼♂️
