A creamy white smoothie is in a clear mason jar and ready to serve. The glass in on black and white tea towel and two whole red apples and whole cinnamon sticks are beside the glass. A decorative milk glass chicken is slightly blurred in the background.

No matter the season, smoothies are always a great idea for breakfast, or an energy-boosting afternoon snack in my kitchen, I just love them. Honestly, I’m not picky when it comes to smoothie-making and I’ll use whatever I have on hand to whip one up. Accordingly, I try to keep a healthy selection of frozen fruit in my freezer just to use in my blender daily. Yes, I generally have some version of a smoothie daily.

However, I do think it’s fun to make smoothies with seasonal flare, and this rich, creamy Apple Pie Smoothie is one of my Autumn faves.

I seriously think it’s a real treat, y’all.

The apple smoothie is white and looks rich and creamy. A comforting sprinkle of cinnamon is visible on the top. The smoothie is on a black and white checkered tea towel with two whole cinnamon sticks and two whole red apples sitting beside the glass.

I love to make this apple smoothie for breakfast, or as a late afternoon pick-me-up. But, it can even be a healthful dessert or sweet when I want something light, but scrumptious later in the day.

How to make an apple pie smoothie

This Apple Pie Smoothie is delicious and nutritious! This tasty smoothie is made with some of the good stuff: fresh apple, Greek yogurt, milk, oats and irresistible warm spices. Depending on how my day is going, I will make this smoothie one of two ways, regular or sugar-free!

The “full-flavor” version is simply sweetened with sweetened yogurt and a small measure of brown sugar, while the sugar-free version is sweetened with either sugar-free cinnamon, vanilla, or maple-flavored syrup. I’m particularly fond of using Jordan’s Skinny Syrups Cinnamon Dolce flavor for this apple smoothie, it’s a great addition to this mix.

Although I’ve got a long history of making homemade, protein-rich smoothies, I’ve only recently started adding in small measures of both chia and ground flax seed into the blender jar as well. A little extra pop of nutrients and fiber isn’t gonna hurt me, that’s for sure!

I hope you and your family enjoy this deliciously creamy Apple Pie Smoothie as much as we do!
