This sweet and salty mix is simple enough to whip on the fly, but it will keep well in an airtight bowl for a few days, so keep a batch handy for anyone who wanders into the kitchen looking for a little treat. Just remember to save yourself a generous handful or two before the snack-loving spirits descend.
